CHEMAX JOINT FILLER

CHEMAX JOINT FILLER is composed of special cements, organic additives and pigments. It requires only the addition of water on site. CHEMAX JOINT FILLER can simply be applied with putty blade to obtain desired filling.

Uses: CHEMAX JOINT FILLER is high quality joint filler for filling the tile joints so as to create strong longlasting tile joints.

Application

Instructions

  • Mixing : Add one part of water to 3 parts powder by volume. Mix well, to get a smooth and uniform paste. Fill and tool the above material firmly in the tile joints with a spatula, without any breaks or voids. Use the mixed material within 20 minutes after mixing
  • Tooling : Tool the above material firmly in the tile joints with a spatula without any breaks or voids.
  • Finishing : After the initial set of the material (2 hours) remove the excess material on the tile edges with a wet cloth or damp sponge. Tile joints should be done with CHEMAX JOINT FILLER only after 24 hours of fixing tiles.

Estimating

  • Packaging : CHEMAX JOINT FILLER is packed in 500GM, 1Kg pouch & 25 Kg bag.
  • Coverage : 1 kg material at 3mm tile gap width and a depth of 5mm will cover 49 running meters. This coverage is only for guidance. The actual coverage will depend on site conditions. Maximum tile gap width should not be more than 5mm. Supply CHEMAX JOINT FILLER is supplied in range of colors.
  • Shelf life : CHEMAX JOINT FILLER has a shelf life of 12 months if kept in a cool and dry place in unopened bags.

  • Health & Safety : CHEMAX JOINT FILLER is special cement based material. Care should be taken to avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin and eyes during use.
  • Fire : CHEMAX ARBOND is non flammable
    Flash point : 480C
