CX SUPERCONCRETE P+ 850

CX SUPERCONCRETE 850 P+ is a high performance super plasticizer suitable for low and high
grade concrete and intended for applications where high water reduction and long workability
retentions are required.
CX SUPERCONCRETE 850 P+ is specially designed to allow considerable reduction of mixing
water while maintaining control on extend of set retardation.
CX SUPERCONCRETE 850 P+ is free of chloride & low alkali. It is compatible with all types of
cements.

Properties
  • Appearance : Light yellow coloured Liquid
  • Chloride content : Nil to IS:456*
  • pH : Minimum 6.0*
  • Relative Density : 1.07 ± 0.02 at 27°C
Application
  • CX SUPERCONCRETE 850 P+ is a ready-to-use liquid which is dispensed into the concrete together with the mixing water. The plasticising effect and water reduction are higher if the admixture is added to the damp concrete after 50 to 70% of the mixing water has been added. The addition of CX SUPERCONCRETE 850 P+ to dry aggregate or cement is not recommended.
  • Dosage : The optimum dosage of CX SUPERCONCRETE 850 P+ to meet specific requirement should always be determined by conducting laboratory and batch trials. However the normal dosage ranges between 0.3 to 2.0 percent by weight of total cement or binder content.
  • Effects of overdosing :
    1. Overdosage may cause delay in the setting time and segregation
    2. Long extension of initial and final set
    3. Increase in air entrainment
  • Packaging : CX SUPERCONCRETE 850 P+ is available in 230kg drums and bulk tanker.
  • Storage : CX SUPERCONCRETE 850 P+ must be stored where temperatures do not drop below +5°C. If product has frozen, thaw at +5°C or above and completely reconstitute using mild mechanical agitation. Do not use pressurized air for agitation. Store under cover, out of direct sunlight and protect from extremes of temperature. Shelf life is 12 months when stored as above.
  • As with all chemical products, care should be taken during use and storage to avoid contact with eyes, mouth, skin and foodstuffs (which can also be tainted with vapour until product fully cured or dried). Treat splashes to eyes and skin immediately. If accidentally ingested, seek immediate medical attention.
