CHEMAX EPOXY TILE GROOUT has been formulated specifically to provide the highest chemical resistance. However at elevated temperatures or where a mixture of chemicals is involved the effects may differ from those found in laboratory tests as described above. Application
  • Preparation :Joints to be grouted should be clean and free from any dust or debris. Porous tile edges should be primed with CHEMPRIME 25 or CHEMPRIME 31.
  • Mixing : The base and hardener components should be individually stirred to redisperse any settlement which may have occurred. Base & hardener mixed together in a suitable container until a uniform color is obtained. The filler component should then be added to the mixed liquid and blended using a slow speed drill and suitable mixing paddle until a uniform, homogeneous mixture is obtained
  • Application : Apply CHEMAX EPOXY TILE GROUT with a spatula to the spaces between the tiles working the mixture into the joints and around the edges. Remove surplus material from the face of the tiles with a dry cloth, it may be necessary to use small quantities of CHEMAX Solvent 102 to assist in the cleaning process.
  • Cleaning : CHEMAX EPOXY TILE GROUT should be removed from tools, equipment and mixers with CHEMAX Solvent 102 immediately after use. Cured material can only be removed mechanically.
  • Limitations : CHEMAX EPOXY TILE GROUT should not be used when the temperature is below 5°C and falling. The product should not be exposed to moving water during application. If any doubts arise concerning temperature or substrate conditions, consult your local CHEMAX office.

  • Shelf life : CHEMAX EPOXY TILE GROUT has a shelf life of 12 months if kept in a dry store in the original, unopened bags or packs.
  • Storage conditions : Store in dry conditions in the original, unopened bags or packs. If stored at high temperature and / or high humidity conditions the shelf life may be reduced to 4 to 6 months.
  • Health & Safety : CHEMAX EPOXY TILE GROUT is epoxy resin based. Direct contact with eyes will cause irritation and may cause serious damage if left untreated. Any eye contamination should be washed immediately with clean water and immediate medical attention sought. Gloves and barrier cream such as Kerodex 71 or Rozalex 9 should be used at all times when handling Epoxy Grout. If contact with the skin occurs a resin removing cream such as Kerocleanse 22 or Rozalex 42 should be used followed by washing with soap and water.
